Kevin Anthony

Kevin Anthony, author and president of Golden Years Financial Advisors, Inc., assists individuals in the Michiana area as a financial advisor focused on the practice of money management. He has been in the financial service industry for over 35 years and has assisted many individuals with his specialized planning techniques. His goal is to help his clients increase and protect their net worth. Kevin is a native to the area and a graduate of Penn High School and Indiana University South Bend. He is also an Ed Slott Elite IRA Advisor and is committed to industry educational programs in order to provide relevant and up-to-date financial advice. He believes in a consultative approach to financial planning in which “listening” to a prospective client’s needs are more important than talking about product or market technicalities.
“I believe that to truly succeed, you must know your client well, and always focus on doing the right thing for them,” says Kevin. “This includes knowing their goals, needs, and resources so that the appropriate financial plan can be developed. Larry Sanders
Founder, The Sanders Agency
Larry founded the Sanders Agency in 1984. The focus was and continues to be providing clients with these benefits: guidance in choosing programs that fit their individual needs, quality companies to utilize, great service after the sale, and annual reviews to ensure their plan continues to serve them well. Larry has served in many professional organizations (GNIAHU and NAIFA) and on the advisory boards of several insurance companies, as well as various charitable organizations. He also serves as an Elder at his church. Larry is married to Connie and they have five children, ten grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Working for so many years in this business, Larry still loves what he does and enjoys working with his clients, many of whom have become wonderful friends.
Michael Anthony
Vice President of Sales & Marketing, Advisor
Michael Anthony joined Golden Years Financial Advisors in January 2019. Michael is one of the youngest Financial Advisors in Indiana to earn his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER TM designation from the College for Financial Planning. He is passionate to serve, assist, and learn from the members of the Michiana community; regarding their life and retirement aspirations. Michael, the youngest of Kevin’s three children, grew up spending time in and around the office allowing him to gain exposure to the financial industry from a young age. Michael is a native to the area and a graduate of Culver Military Academy in Culver, Indiana; where he began his path to higher education, leadership, and rugby competition. In May of 2018 he graduated from Furman University in South Carolina where he received two bachelor’s degrees; one in business administration and one in Spanish, while playing rugby during both the fall and spring seasons. Michael is bilingual and is looking forward to using his languages to reach out and assist individuals in the community.
Lindsay Garrett
Vice President of Operations
Lindsay joined The Sanders Agency in 2018 as office manager and merged with Golden Years Financial Advisors in January of 2022. She is currently the Vice President of Operations with the organization, a role she thoroughly enjoys. In addition to her position with Golden Years, Lindsay also has a degree in Interior Design and previously owned a design and construction company with her husband. She also owned an online stationery company for six years. Lindsay has a keen business sense, loves organization and enjoys getting to know people and seeing the good in everyone. She has been a licensed insurance agent since 2018 and is continually increasing her knowledge of the financial advising field while managing the operations of the organization. Lindsay has three children whom she adores and is married to her high school sweetheart. She loves spending time working in her garden and having fun with her family.
Andrea Ramer
Director of Advisory Services
Andrea joined the Golden Years Financial Advisors team as office manager in September of 2016. She is currently our Director of Advisory Services. Andrea has extensive experience with administrative tasks including organization, marketing, event planning, and client correspondence & service. Having held office positions within the camping ministry and education fields, she is able to tailor her skills to meet the needs of various clients. Andrea interacts directly with our current client family with the hope of increasing office efficiency and customer satisfaction. She is a native to central Kansas and graduated from Hesston College. Andrea and her family have lived in the Michiana area since 2002, on both sides of the border, in Sturgis, MI and now Goshen, IN.
Sherrie Kramer
Health Insurance Specialist
Sherrie joined the Sanders Agency in 2016 and is a licensed Insurance Specialist and NABIP Certified Medicare Professional. She has over thirty years experience in sales, marketing, and customer service. Her core values include honesty and integrity, and her number one priority is making sure she meets each of her client’s individual needs. She is a member of two professional organizations, NABIP and NAIFA. She is currently serving as President and Treasurer of the Local National Association of Benefit and Insurance Professionals, (NABIPNIC). She has also served on the board of the Local North Central Indiana chapter of National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA) and is currently serving on the NAIFA- Indiana State Board. She is an active member of the Osceola United Methodist Church and served as Worship Chairperson from 2015-2018. She has lived in Mishawaka since birth and is a graduate of Mishawaka High School. She and her husband, Dave, live in Mishawaka and have four children and five grandchildren.
Michelle Wesley
Medicare Specialist
Michelle joined the Golden Years Financial Advisors team in June of 2022. She began working as an administrative assistant and has since transitioned to the role of a Health Care Agent, specializing in Medicare health insurance. She enjoys getting the opportunity to work one-on-one with clients as they navigate the health insurance world and choose plans that meet each of their individual needs. Michelle is the oldest of Kevin’s three children and is a native to the area, graduating from NorthWood High School. She has a FACS Education degree from Purdue University and spent 6 years teaching High School in central and southern Indiana. She and her husband Lucas welcomed their first child and are enjoying being back in northern Indiana and close to family after having lived in southern Indiana and Illinois for the first part of their marriage.
Erica Noens

Erica joined the Sanders Agency in 2014 and in 2018 became a licensed insurance agent. She is a native of Mishawaka and graduated from Mishawaka High School. Previous to the Sanders Agency, she worked at the Lincolnway Veterinary Clinic where she learned exceptional people and office skills. She has a passion for helping others and a knack for organization. Erica excels in providing support and assistance to colleagues and clients alike. She enjoys working with people and meeting new faces. In 2023, the merge with Golden Years Financial Advisors allowed her to meet more amazing people, and form a bond working together with a new team, whom she feels is like family. Erica was blessed to be a stay-at-home mom to her son Caleb for seven years. Outside of the office, Erica finds joy in spending quality time with her family and friends. One of her favorite pastimes is fishing, where she finds peace and tranquility in nature’s beauty. Whether casting a line into a serene lake or just spending time with her loved ones, Erica embraces the simple pleasures of life.
Deborah Buckman
Health Insurance Specialist
Debbe joined the Sanders Agency in 2002. She graduated from Ball State University with a Bachelors of Science in Nursing. In addition to her healthcare experience, Debbe has been an Insurance Specialist for over 20 years. She has made long-term care insurance her focus of practice. Her own personal experience with family members requiring long-term health care has given her an appreciation of the need. She offers a variety of Medicare insurance plans and the marketplace individual health insurance under age 65 market. Debbe is also a certified agent through the Indiana Long-Term Care Insurance Program (Partnership Program) and has sponsored several seminars to bring public awareness of the topic to Indiana residents. She is licensed to sell insurance products in Indiana, Illinois, Michigan, Ohio and Florida.
